Motion: Climate Strike in Kimberley, BC

On September 20th, 2019, youth from the Kimberley Youth Action Network at Selkirk Secondary School in Kimberley, BC, joined thousands of students and millions of people from around the world in protesting the lack of action that’s been taken on addressing one of the most pressing issues of our time, climate change. Speaking from the heart, the youth are sending the message that their voices need to be heard, and their future needs to be taken into account as we plan for how we deal with the climate crisis this planet currently faces.

I shot this short documentary to help spread the message the youth of today are sending world leaders; What we are doing is not enough, and it’s time to start taking action. I firmly believe in this message, and this video is driven by my desire to help Canada and the world through these challenging times, so we can hopefully prevent even further challenges ahead, and provide the youth and ourselves with a more sustainable and prosperous future.

I hope you enjoy!
